Reference Research Request

As part of our commitment to supporting a lifetime of learning, Geneva Public Library staff are available to conduct research on behalf of patrons.

• Research is capped at 2 hours per individual request.
• Patrons may place multiple research requests, but research time is capped at two hours per patron, per two week period.
• The type and amount of research conducted is limited by the available resources and the knowledge of our staff.

The Library’s Genealogy and Research Policy provides a summary of our research resources, procedures, and potential costs related to requesting Library staff-led research.
