
2026-27 Library Budget Vote
Thank you to everyone who participated in this year’s library budget vote. The proposed budget passed 500 – 238. We’re also pleased to share that trustees Donald Cass and Judith McKinney were both reelected to serve a another term on the Board of Trustees.
We appreciate the community’s continued support of the library and our mission to inspire and support a lifetime of learning and creativity for the our community. Your support helps make possible the programs, services, collections, technology, and welcoming spaces that so many community members rely on each year. We look forward to another year of growth, connection, and service at Geneva Public Library.
Questions & Answers
When and where will the library vote be held?
The vote will be held from 11 am to 8 pm on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, in the mini-gym at North Street Elementary School, 400 W. North St., Geneva.
Who can vote?
Any Geneva City School District resident who is a registered voter is eligible to vote. Geneva City School District residents 18 years of age or older may register to vote. Qualified individuals can register to vote by mail or in person at the Ontario County Board of Elections, 74 Ontario St, Canandaigua.
